About
I began seriously collecting antiques when I was about 11 years old. My parents would take my sister and myself to the large antique shows each summer and I found that they were much more enjoyable when you went there in search of something to add to a collection. This drive to collect has never left me. If anything, it has grown as I have grown. Once I got my drivers license I was free to visit many of the local upstate New York towns where many of these antiques were produced. I continue to love visiting the many small town libraries and historical societies in an attempt to dig up bits and pieces of the historical puzzle.
Skeet shooting is a more recent hobby of mine. I began shooting skeet over a year ago and of course with my long standing interest in history it was only natural for me to start digging into the history of the sport. While I really like the early targets, in particular the glass target balls, I like the cast iron construction and varying mechanisms of the traps themselves.
